December Greenkeepers Report
Golf courses December report 2016
Greens – Cut and rolled when required and if the ground conditions are suitable. Slit tined to a depth of 6 inches to help relieve compaction. The greens on both courses were top-dressed with sand to help smooth off the surface and reduce thatch levels.
Surrounds – Cut when required and if the ground conditions are ok to keep these areas tidy. All surrounds were top-dressed with sand.
Tees – Cut when required but still divoting, emptying bins, topping up ball washers and picking up broken tees etc on a weekly basis to help keep these areas tidy. Aeration work still continues on all tees to relieve compaction. All tees were top-dressed to help fill in core holes/divot marks etc.
