How to Get Here

Located on the easternmost edge of the county of Fife, only 12 miles from St Andrews in Scotland, the Home of Golf. Passing through beautiful landscape and by ancient landmarks; the journey here is just the beginning of the adventure.

What to Wear

We play our golf in a beautiful part of Scotland and we do enjoy spectacular days. But the weather can be changeable. If you are visiting from overseas, we are often asked about what to pack for a day on the links. Even in the summer months, layering is the key, and rain gear stashed in the bag is essential. The golden rule in this part of the world is always come prepared!

Where to Stay

While the Society does not offer any accommodation at the Club there is an abundance of B&Bs, hotels and self catering cottages, both locally and in and around St Andrews, to suit every taste and budget.

Relaxed, Easy, Everything You Need

As visitors you are our guests for the day and we want you to feel welcome and comfortable. Get here in plenty of time to get settled in. Check in, change in the clubhouse, meet your caddie and spend some time on the range, short game practice area and putting green before making your way to the first tee. We will see you back in the clubhouse afterwards for a drink and a bite to eat.

Where to Park

We have two car parks that members and guests use. The main car park is next to the clubhouse, with disabled parking places conveniently located near the front entrance. Additional parking can be  found adjacent to the driving range as you enter the club property.

Checking In

The Pro Shop is the first port of call to get checked in before golf for members and visitors alike. The uniquely shaped shop is located on the left just before you enter the main car park. Staff will then point you in the right direction for changing rooms and clubhouse access.

Where to Change

Don't feel rushed as you get ready for your round. Our secure changing rooms, showers, complimentary towels and facilities are open to guests and visitors in the clubhouse. Door access codes will be given to you by the Pro Shop staff on your arrival.

Don't underestimate the value of a caddie at Crail. Our highly sought after caddies are all members first. They take great pride in their club and in making sure that you have the best possible day out on the links. To reserve a caddie for your round please contact the club directly.
